• Cyanogenmod is a variant of Android that is essentially stock Android, with the extra software needed to work on non-Nexus phones, and a few minor enhancements.
• Cyanogenmod is one of the best ways to get a clean Android experience on a larger number of phones.
• Cyanogenmod used to be very hard to install, and in some cases it still is. But, often it is possible to use the new app to do it in a straight forward fashion.
