• Using Cyanogenmod is fun, but it is not without risks.
• Installing Cyanogenmod uses a process called flashing, which can go wrong. This may render your phone unusable, and may also void your warranty.
• Cyanogenmod has official versions for lots of phones, but less popular models only get unofficial models. If your phone does not have an official version, it is recommended you do not use Cyanogenmod.
  • Check the list of supported phones to see if you should proceed or not.
• If you don’t want to use your main phone for this project, you can always purchase a second hand phone from Ap Lui Street in Sham Shui Po, and then sell it when you are done.
