The Munro Hampton Alumni – DC Scholarship

The Munro Hampton Alumni Association DC is pleased to offer our annual scholarships to four students commencing at Grade Eight and proceeding through to Grade Thirteen. Two scholarship recipients will be selected from Hampton School and Munro College respectively. Each selected student must have strong academic performance and must be a participant in sporting or extra-curricular activities at school.

Scholarship Criteria

Each scholarship recipient must meet the criteria below:

• A satisfactory record of academic performance
• A satisfactory record of attendance
• Participation in a sporting activity at school or
• Participation in extra-curricular activities (through clubs or societies)
• The scholarship recipients will be students whose parents or guardians find it financially challenging to meet the expenses of secondary education.
• Essay: Each applicant must submit an essay with a minimum of 500 type written words in response to the question, “Why do you think you are deserving of this scholarship?”
